We all focus on ways to make extra money; but do you ever stop to think about ways to find money? It’s true! Here’s a few simple things you can do to see if there is any extra cash out there that you may need:
1) Ask if your credit card company has any cash rewards available!
Many times, credit card companies store up cash bonuses for each time you make a significant payment. If you have fully paid of your card recently, chances are, they probably have a cash reward for you. Some people don’t realize this, since the credit card companies don’t like to promote it. Whenever you request the information, always speak to a manager or someone that can give you straight answers. We did this laste year and had over $100 that we had earned and didn’t eve know about!
2) See if you or your spouse has “unclaimed money” waiting for you!
There is a website where you can search out your names to see if you have unclaimed money waiting on you. This is usually just a small amount that you had been owed in the past and did not receive. Just go to Missing Money and see whether or not you are on the list!
3) Keep an eye out for checking accounts cash rewards!
Many banks will offer new customers a cash reward for opening a checking account. This is a great way to earn money for your savings, Christmas shopping, or just for any of your every day needs. The rules and requirements will vary from bank to bank, but it’s still a great way to earn some extra cash!
