A few weeks ago I went out to dinner with my friends. As we munched on chips and salsa, a friend shared how she made a nice stash of cash over a short period of time. I listened with interest.

Want to know how she did it? I laughed at how easy her answer was. She simply sorted through her book collection, priced each book, and sold them on Amazon. When I heard that, I decided to give it a try for myself. And I am glad I did!

I went home, sorted through a couple of books. I chose a couple of popular titles that I didn’t need anymore to sell. Then during a break at work, I listed them on Amazon. Then I waited. A few hours later, I was checking e-mail when I realized I had two new notices from Amazon. I had sold the books I had listed within hours. I couldn’t believe it! Talk about some fast extra cash!

Then it donned on me how easy it is for people to earn extra cash fast when they really need to. Perhaps you want to save up for a overnight vacation to a favorite city. Maybe you are getting ready to celebrate an anniversary or birthday…even if you are just saving up for a nice Christmas stash. Regardless, earning extra income can be literally just a few short clicks away.

Selling items through Amazon is easy. Simply set up an account, list your items, and then see your results! Sounds too simple, doesn’t it? It is, I just wonder why more people don’t take advantage of this.

You may be saying…I don’t even own any books, much less can I sell them! That’s okay…you probably have something else you can list. Unused Ipods? Cameras? DVD’s? Who know maybe even your stash of old records or vintage items might hold worth to another person!

Like they say “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure!” I can only imagine what great ideas may be running through your head. Perhaps you are an avid book collector and your books are worth quite the money! You never know! You can even do a quick search on amazon and see what items are worth more, etc.

You may be wondering why I even bothered to post this. But when you are learning to work at home, even a few extra dollars can help. After all a dollar is a dollar! Maybe this extra cash is exactly what you need to pay for your hosting. Work at home will take a small investment to get started. So before you say “you don’t have the money”, go through your closets and see what Amazon can do for you! It will not take much time and it is so easy! Anybody can do it! If that’s not the case, save it for something else you might need!
