Oh it happens to everybody. You start the day off with a plan, a to do list and some energy to boot.
Then, the afternoon slump arrives in its not so glorious state.
So, what’s a person to do?
Create A Simple Plan of Action in Just 3 Steps!
1) When you feel the afternoon slump coming on, take care of yourself! It usually means you need a break. Take a few seconds to stretch, drink some water and clear your mind.
2) Next, use that time as a chance to re-focus and re-evaluate your current “to do” list. See how far you have come during the day and how far you still have to go. It is a great way to motivate yourself.
3) Prioritize what is left on your “to do” list and focus on getting those done before it’s time to go home. In other words, race the clock!
Before you know it, your day will be coming to a close and you will have survived the afternoon slump.
