When it comes to pursuing your dream career, you may find a lot of heartbreak on the way. Many of us have at some point in time, accepted a position where you were promised everything wonder, that ended up being just a ploy to get you hired.
Sadly, you may have found yourself in miserable working conditions, that included being lied to about what you would be required to do. Many people continue working in these conditions for years on end, thinking there is no other choice. But, there is!
Lessons Learned
Two years ago, I was that person. I accepted a position only to be lied about, cheated, verbally harassed, and eventually left with barely any self confidence in tact. Thankfully, I was given another option to pursue my own dreams, and put my nightmare of an experience behind me. It was not always an easy journey, but I firmly believe every rough patch was a learning experience.
I continue to use the lessons I learned from those painful days, in hopes to help another person who may be in a similar type situation out.
Finding Your Dreams
Are you stuck in a nine to five career, where you are daily berated, shoved around, and verbally accosted? Have you taken just about as much as you can handle? It may be time for you to make a drastic change in your own life.
First thing first, resign from the situation, and resolve to yourself to never be put in such a vulnerable position again. Then seek out counseling, advice, and finding healing for yourself. Most likely, you will feel emotionally detached, angry, and bitter. It’s important to work through those feelings, so that you can move on to bigger, and better things for yourself.
Final Thoughts
Remind yourself that you are worth fighting for. It is worth it to step out on a limb, and seek restoration for your life. I would challenge you to consider finding a work at home job solution, so that you can be your own boss. Doing these things in my own life, has brought peace, and finally true fulfillment in my own life.
So, what is holding you back? Find a way to pursue other areas of a career path, so that you can once and for all pursue your dreams. You owe it to yourself.
