It happens to the best of us. On the morning before your “big day”, whether it’s a job interview or a first day, it happens. The inevitable zit appears the size of acne. That’s probably why you sat down to do a quick search on how to get rid of acne fast. Believe me, I think a majority of people have done the same thing.

So before you wallow in self pity, and reach for the tissue to shed tears, let’s talk about how to get rid of acne fast. These are all tips and tricks that I’ve used since my early teen years.

First, sit down and write yourself three goals to achieve for the next 24 hours:

Avoid all greasy foods!
Avoid soda like the plague!
Avoid fatty foods!

I learned this trick from my Grandma. I was going through one of those rare breakouts, and she wrote down this recipe. To this day, I use this as my combat to get rid of acne fast!

So without further ado, I present to you three tricks:

1) How To Get Rid of Acne Fast Mask:

1/2 Cup Oatmeal (dry)
1/2 Cup Powdered Milk (dry)

IN a blender mix these ingredients well until grounded.
Take 2 Tablespoons of of the mixture and add 1 Tablespoon of water, until a
thick paste forms. Spread over a clean face (i.e. remove make-up prior), and let
set for about 2-3 minutes or until dry. Your skin will feel tight once the mask is dry.
Rinse with warm water. Repeat 2-3 times a day.

2) Get Rid of Acne Fast Spot:

Ready for this one? It might overwhelm you…

Witch hazel.

After using the above Get Rid of Acne Fast Mask, soak a cotton ball in witch hazel and dab all over your face.

3)Get Rid of Acne Fast Trick

Lemon Juice

This is another easy one. Simply dip a cotton ball in lemon juice and apply to infected area. Apply the lemon juice to the affected area at least twice a day.

These are great tricks of the trade that I learned from my Grandma and others. I’ve used them for years when a problem spot occurred and need a great solution.

A few other great tips:

Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Eat meals centered around fresh vegetables and fruits. Although we already mentioned this before, avoid greasy & fatty foods! Avoid soda at all costs. Replace your soda intake with water! If you are tired of water, add a splash of juice to your glass for a flavored water drink! It’s refreshing and will help replenish your skin.
