One of my greatest fears is becoming greedy with information. If I know something works, then I want to share it with others.
A short time ago, I worked for a company where the main boss refused to help others out. She often claimed that if others learned her business “secrets” they would steal her ideas and ruin her company. Rather than doing the right thing and helping others out, she did whatever it took to keep others from learning tips and tricks are her trade.
To this day, her business teeters on the brink of disaster. She has no respect from those that know her best, and past employees have nothing but nightmares from their work experience there.
I chalk that experience up as a lesson learned, and strive daily to implement helping others in my daily life. Zig Ziglar put’s it best in his quote:
“If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.”
Helping others can be your key to success as you learn the steps to work at home and live the life you dream of.
