“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” –Harriet Tubman
Oh boy! I fell off the bandwagon. Okay, so not really. I feel like I fell of the bandwagon. Truth is, every spare moment has been spent writing assignment for my freelance gig. The articles themselves don’t take much time, but the process does.
I found a few key things to speed up my process though. I love writing in Microsoft Word. The handy little “word count” tool is my lifesaver. Generally, when I set out to write, I write until my heart’s content. Then I go back and break up the article into paragraphs. Next I work on any errors that I may have (and as we all know, there are always errors…at least in my part of the world).
The freelance writing jobs have given me another creative outlet to make extra cash. I’m loving it!
Also, I’m working on putting together another little blurb on how you can make extra money by doing a project on-line. But no details yet…gotta get my thoughts together. But, I’ll say this–it’s given me a nice stash for Starbucks. Yes, Starbucks is my vice. I mean honestly what is better than a Pumpkin Spice Latte to give you a nice kick start to your morning? Or better yet, help you liven up your evenings?
Wow, I entirely got off subject. Excuse me…
Okay, as I was saying the freelance writing jobs are great. Simple rules to follow. I enjoy writing. It’s a great creative outlet! I get to make my own hours and work as much as I choose. Can it possibly get any better (other than the obvious: more mula)!
Alrighty, time for another list of goals to tackle this week:
1) Finish writing 3 articles tonight for freelance project.
2) Update blog with new links!
3) Start blog post regarding on-line money making project!
4) Meet new bloggers (at least 5!!!) [this is my favorite, I really enjoy “meeting” new bloggers”
5) Find one new strategy to implement to my website this week.
6) Find new quotes regarding “dedication” for inspirational purposes.
7) Write an article that is “off topic” to keep my blog interesting…
Okay, that’s a good list to accomplish before the weekend. Do yall think I”m crazy for posting lists all the time? I can’t help it…I’m a list addict! I can see it now…”Hi, I’m H and I’m addicted to Starbucks and Lists!”.
With that, I think it’s time to wrap up this post, before I start sharing other addictions like chocolate pie & vanilla coke…
Instead, I’ll leave you with this…
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
It with that knowledge that I keep working on this websites and working towards my dreams in life.
Ciao!
